Boom makes life easier by boosting the audio output of the entire system rather than focusing on a few applications. This means the user can now enhance the volume of popular media-playing applications like iTunes and QuickTime. The volume of YouTube, Hulu videos playing on the web browser can also be boosted. Voice applications like iChat and Skype can use Boom to enhance their audio experience.


Additionally, Boom provides first-of-a-kind simplified equalizer with custom presets to further tweak the audio experience at the system level.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.3:

Some users reported that when you watch a video of a long duration, the audio goes out of sync. This is now fixed.
When there is no sound for a continuous 5 second, CPU utilization decreases to nil. So, Boom now does not occupy any extra CPU when not in use.
Other minor defects fixed.
